Mix and Greet is back!
Within the community of the TU/e there are many different nationalities and cultures. To celebrate this and create greater understanding between everyone at the TU/e, Cosmos presents “mix and greet culture edition.” During this event you will be paired up with people from cultures and nationalities that differ from yours. With the intention to talk about and discuss diverse topics such as work ethic, celebrations, traditions, and cultural expectations, within a safe and open environment that allows for misunderstandings to be questioned and resolved.
If you have always been curious as to other cultures, or if you’ve ever been confused by the particular tendencies of other cultures, then feel free to join the event to engage in a friendly conversation about these topics. All employees and students of the TU/e are welcome!
Furthermore, at the start of the event a guest lecture will be held by Loes te Welvaart from RADAR. RADAR is the anti-discrimination facility operating in Rotterdam-Rijnmond, South Holland South, Central and West Brabant and Brabant North. During the lecture Loes will explain what RADAR does and how it can help you if you see or encounter discrimination.
